Sony mirrorless cameras are equipped with a nifty feature -- in camera panorama pictures. I've been using this feature for a very long time (since it was first available in the Nex 5) and I found that with careful and thoughtful manipulation of the camera in front of the right scenes, the feature produces some very nice "special effects" I cannot otherwise obtain. Here are two examples. There are limitations and the results may not be desirable sometimes. After using the feature in so many situations, I can say I would miss the feature if I don't have a Sony camera with me in my photo excursions. Can I have the same effect with the panorama feature in other cameras? I have yet to find one that I'm satisfied with (I have cameras by Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus). Maybe I haven't really tried, or I'm happy with Sony I always find fault with the others. Can I do a multi-frame stitching? The effect is different, that's all I can say.
