| Boatmen at lake Dali, Kashmir |
There was a lapse in blog posts last week. I was away, doing a trip here in beautiful Lake Dali in Kashmir, India. This is a wonderful place, littered with gorgeous snow-capped mountains and emerald-colored lakes. These tiny colorful boats are "powered" by the boatmen, and are used as water taxi or pleasure boat tours, which are worth all the trouble getting here, especially in this perfect weather -- sunny and cool. Here the direct afternoon sun gave the boats there well-deserved glow with their bright colors. Makes one think of all those Kodak color films ad.
