I think I'll have to call these types of pictures digital painting -- I don't think it is a proper representation of the real scene, and you would not be able to see this even if you were there. I did not use any filter for the effect, I simply close the aperture to almost the minimum to let the lens flare itself. Then I have to heavy-handedly process the shadows..... I do belief this is only achievable with digital photography, thus I'll have to call this digital painting, although people would disagree with the "painting" part.... Honestly, this is a rather insipid sunrise picture, the lens flare just makes it less so.....
