Low tide

Mother and child

It was close to sunset, the low tide revealed a vast expanse of shoal with the very tidy pattern created by nature.  Mother and child were happy to spend the hour, picking up clams and whelks, and fun along the way.  Life isn't the most glamorous here in this remote fishing village, but the shear joy and beauty provided by nature sure is something to write home about, depending on how you see this simple and abundant moments.
