When I arrived at the base of the Eiffel Tower, the sun was setting - I was really lucky. The timing was perfect, I watched the sun setting slowly while the steel girders glistened in the glory of the last rays of the day. I was busy the whole time, capturing the ever changing colors and the evr chnaging perspective as I move around the tower, following the crowd up the viewing platform. This pictures was almost the last picture I took up on the platform, with the sun completely submerged in the horizon, the whole city immersed in a blue cast, punctured by the orange glow of the tungsten floodlits over at the... err... honestly, I don;t have an idea os what the building is. I could not imagine being able to take this picture, as I was really on a ruch and I had no time to even think how I was going to compose and expose end kept the camera steady. I printed this picture just now, amazing.
