At 6 in the morning

Early morning cruise

I was staying in a hotel overlooking the small harbor.  I didn't realize the view when I checked into the hotel late in the previous evening.  Early in the morning when I got up getting ready to go, checking out of the window, this was the scene.  The light level was really low, I could barely make out the boats and the crew on deck.  I was using a Nikon D100 and shooting jpeg, didn't even realize that there's a RAW file format.  Not a terrific picture, but one that I like very much, as I always said -- a picture would always mean much more to the photographer that the audience.  If the photographer can provoke similar feelings from the audience, he is doing a very good job.
