| Maple Leaves |
This is the dead side of the pond where the water is calm and the fallen leaves accumulates. They will likely accumulate for years, when those at the very bottom decay and the those at the top join them, year after year, the layers are staggered, until may be a major storm hurls everything around. Until then, here's something to ponder, to imagine, and just to study, the various stages of the decaying leaves.
