Crater lake, northern China |
OK, I decided to have another panorama again today, this time of a crater lake somewhere in Northern China. This is almost a perfect crater, round, deep, and surrounded by an almost equally high mountain ridge as the lip. Water pours out from a cleavage, leaving the water level about halfway up the crater. I wonder how all these water gets into the crater, and it actually gets constantly filled up, as the waterfall at the spout is a roaring, thundering rage. This is not the perfect time of the day (or the perfect season) to picture this lake, but getting up there isn't an everyday feat neither. I believe someone would dedicate a few years of his time figuring out the perfect time for a picture for the lake, but for now, I'm fine with this panorama.
