Photos are to deceive

Strange Perspective

I remember long time ago, when I was really really small, at my teens, I used to read a "paired poem" on two sides of a stage, the bottom part said something like "all the efforts of performance on stage were just trying to stimulate the visual experiences of the ordinary".  I believe photos are doing just that.  At first glance, this picture doesn't seem right, it would take a second or two before the eye and the mind collaborate and the whole idea settle in.  And that would be the two second fame for this picture, period.
This picture was taken at the almost exact same spot as the post yesterday, but of course at different times.  Yes, photos are all about light, no doubt.
