Egrets in flight

Egrets in flight are things of beauty.  The whole body is streamlined for flight, the wings curved for maximum lift, the feathers at the tip of the wings stretched for control, the neck cranked for all round vision. All are coordinated perfectly by nature, the egrets are just born with this gracefulness.
The modern digital technology makes shooting birds in flight a breeze.  I cannot fathom how many rolls of film a photographer has to shoot in order to ensure he has a fair crop of useable photos.  For this session of a little over an hour, I took about 1000 frames.  I can of course toss the useless ones, which meant about 97% of them, away.  I have to be really rich in order to do that for film.

    The colour of the background is plain white when I viewed your photo at home.
    In office, I view again the background colour is somewhat between ivory to pinkish which formed an impressive picture to me.
    Egret in flight over a slightly turbulent water surface in a right angle of reflection caught by a whole hearted photograher.
    Nature is a beauty!
