| White Boats |
The boats were vibrant in the direct sun on this October day. They were so bright I had to underexpose the water in order to bring in the correct colors of the boats, and that's how this picture got it's cachet. This is not the perfect angle for a perfect composition, 'cos I wasn't serious about these boats -- there are too many pictures of boats. I was just enjoying the hike and did my usual casual shooting. When I hike, especially in this unfamiliar place, I could not help with "shooting everything in sight", so to speak.
