A picture tells it all -- the red kerchief indicated them as school children. Their clothing (not uniform) was a telltale sign of their affluence (or lack of). The unpaved sidewalk in the background further indicated the level of development of the place. Their reaction to the camera was the center of interest here -- each one of them behaved differently, making this a good story-telling picture. Nothing dramatic happened afterwards, I lowered my camera, gave them a broad grin, they got on their way to the snack stall, and everybody was happy.
