The village barber shop |
As hinted by the clean towel, this barbershop was in business, although it seemed to be in pretty bad shape. This was in a very remote village, and by the condition of the sole barbershop, we can imagine the difficult life here. We should be grateful for what we have. By looking at what they had, we can imagine what they didn't have. This was taken in March this year, in fact not long ago.
So,they collect hair from the hair cut storing under the tabe.

I see hand paint on the walls but still look new, no signs of fading.
It seems a series of pictures from a remote village where your father is born?
The series of pictures from remote villages is in fact from various places I visited in mainland China. The place my father was born is still rather remote, but it is being developed and thus it loses some of the nostalgic feel, without which I was less tempted to take pictures.
