High Street at high noon

The high contrast had reduced the cluttered scene into either heavy shadows or bright highlights.  The silhouette of the cyclist stood out against the blocky black and whites.  I believe I had missed a few milliseconds in pressing the shutter, I should have the cyclist not so eerily close to the shadow.  But I didn't wait for the picture, I did not have much time to react when the cyclist just simply crossed the street in about 2 seconds.
