Every time I study these pictures, I cannot help but awe at the advanced civilization that once existed in this tropical country. Every carving on these stone pillars was laboriously detailed, every structure was built to last. Even after disappearing in the forest for hundreds of years, the structures are still standing, the carvings are still clearly legible, the spirit of the civilization is still "there".
