Light pollution

Clouds over a city

No one in a big city is able to any stars at night, simply because of light pollution.  Here the clouds resting on top of this city at night were illuminated by the stray lights out of the millions of homes and business, all were for good reasons but nonetheless too much.  I always dreamed of staying in the wilderness for just one night, I would put out the camp fire and the night sky would open up its curtain and the celestial show would slowly begin after my eyes would adjust to the "darkness" and take on the new lights from the stars.  I can still fondly remember, but not when, I was walking with my own shadow from the moon!
