Angor Wat |
After a 400 years of hiatus in the forest, the Angor Wat still stands intact, providing the world with another chance to awe at the magnificient creations of a great bygone culture. There has been much talk of the impermanence of photographs over the net, and this seems to be proof -- after 400 years of nonmaintenance, the stone structures are still holding up. But how many photographs would still last after 400 years lost in the attic, basement or closet? Interesting one of the purposes of taking pictures is to enable the moment to last.... but for how long? Especially when the media of storage is digital..... Go and have your important and valuable photos printed -- at least they will have a better chance of being kept.
