When a complicated scene is reduced to its mere graphic elements, devoid of colors and distracting objects, the result is often a refreshing look at our sometimes-too-complicated world. Less is beautiful, it is therefore more difficult to include than to exclude. I had tried to wait for the boats to disappear, or at least I didn't need two of them here, but time was not on my side, although I had already spent 30 minutes at this scene. I settled for this, hoping the curving shoreline would link the elements together. I'm a purist, so photoshop'ing any of the elements out would be a sin. Anyway, this is not a masterpiece for sure, but an encouragement for me to move forward.
I like your XaPu series very very much!
