Village People
This was taken at a remote village in Shang Yang in northern China, when a mobile shoe vendor had visited this far-away village and these friendly village people were having a shopping spree.  I was mingling closely with them, taking pictures of them at the same time.  I'm not sure if they were aware that I was taking pictures, but definitely they didn't find me offensive, nor my camera -- it was the Nex5  with the 16mm lens.  May be my advantage here was the viewing screen, that I was not shooting at eye level.  I believe any camera that uses the rear viewing screen is not considered a "serious" camera, and is accepted as a casual plaything.  In this friendly situation, it was just that "guy from afar taking some records of life".  In deed it was, just a record of life.
