Splash of colors |
The nishikigoi, or colored carp, is a beautiful creature to watch, especially when they are in a herd, displaying a variety of colors, shades and patterns. They are also difficult to photograph, moving erratically under water, their position difficult to predict. Yet, their most beautiful form is when they are changing direction, when they are in a naturally curved shape. In the film era, tons of film were wasted just to get the perfect shot. In this digital age, we are much better off, just having to deal with hundreds of useless files. This is one photo that emphasizes on only one aspect of the beauty of the fish, their colors.
