A photo was auctioned off for US $4 million recently. The world must be crazy, and the Armageddon is predicted to be this Sunday. If there is a person who can spend $4 million on a photo when millions of people are working for a mere $5 a day, there IS something wrong with this world. When cars selling for $400,000 are being produced (and actually sold-out), and a hotel room can be charged for $5000 a day, and there are women and children who had to walk hours, then wait for hours just to get a bottle of water....... And the Sigma SD1 is being offered at... ahem... $7500 with a lens.... Remember the camera is a camera with a mere APS-C sensor.
This is a picture taken with a good lens, just look at the acuity of the details..... And yes, it was taken with a sub $5000 camera. No, this is not a good picture, may be good technically, but not a good picture in a lot of perspectives. Hey, the world is crazy, I sure am allowed to post anything I like, right? My head is spinning....
