This picture was taken this afternoon, around 3:30. The pond was part of a stream, but at this day, there was very little running water, so the pond was really calm, the water was still. The flowering tree nearby was at the end of its blossoming season, and the flowers were shedding. When they fell, they always turned stem first. And because of the height of the fall, every flower in the pond was facing the same way -- up. The pond was in the shade of trees, the surface of the pond wasn't reflecting any light, rendering the water dark. There were yellow leaves dotting the pond as well, breaking up the monotony of the white flowers. Together, everything just worked in harmony in this picture, nothing else needed to be done.
