The Golden Gate Bridge is definitely a symbol of humanity-- one has to be up close to really appreciate it, like these 4 young men, relaxed, taking in the beautiful vista, feeling the cool breeze in a warm summer day, and appreciating the greatness, not only on the architecture, but on the vision of building the bridge.  Stand here on top of the hill overlooking the channel before the existence of the bridge, and you would need a very forward looking vision to begin planning to build the bridge. Amazing!
