This picture would only appear a few days in a year, when the sun is at the right angle lighting up the street in such a way. I was there, and the light and shadow just mesmerized me. I also happened to have the right lens with me, which in this case is a very long lens. Things just came together for this picture, I just had to compose and wait for the interesting elements to jazz up the picture. Luck is 50% of a picture, the other 50%? Preparedness, skill, vision, reflex...........
Now that I know the time of the year for the light, I would still need the weather to cooperate, and then I have to have the time to get there for the afternoon sun, and the surface of street should better be the same -- if they re-pave the surface with less reflective material, the picture is gone....
Hi, Fleadad, looking through your pictures is like reading into your mind and help me understand the real world of photography! Very good work and it can tracked back to long time of consistent hobby or in fact your 'career'
