Lion's Gate Bridge |
This could be another bland photo of the Lion's Gate Bridge in Vancouver, if not for the waves that came from nowhere. It was cloudy and I was strolling the Ambleside Park, coming to the edge of water looking at the Lion's Gate Bridge, and chatting with a guy with a Canon 40D, I believe, with a Vivitar zoom lens. Then the clouds broke open, a sliver of light fell on to the bay, and then these few waves broke loose right where the sunlight fell. It all happened within a span of two minutes. Everything went back to the calm and uneventful afternoon. I stay for another five minutes waiting, as the clouds were still shifting fast, but nothing as dramatic happened again.
