The natural light was behind the man, and he was against a white-ish wall. This rendered his face difficult to handle, but because of the softness of the light, the face was not in very deep shadow. In fact, the tone of the face reflected the right complexion for what he was, and I could not ask for better lighting. His attention was perfect, although I like the eyes to be more conspicuous.
