Sunset in Seattle 2010 |
I live at the Tropic of Cancer, sunset scenes like this are rare to me. This is 40 minutes after sunset, and the orange glow was like magic to my eyes. I took this with a 50mm F1.4 lens, and it was the first time I saw serious coma with a large aperture lens -- look at the lights at the corners. I have to hand-hold the camera and open up the aperture as I was on a ferry, no point in using a tripod or any other support. This picture is about the colors of nature although I'm not sure if it was captured properly. This picture could easily be produced with a computer graphics application, but to me, I know this is the real thing.
